Social networking app O’hi secures seed funding of Rs 3 cr; plans to expand services


Social networking app O’hi has raised Rs 3 crore in seed funding from renowned investors such as Rahul Mehta (Managing Partner-DST), Angellist US among others. O’Hi aims to instantly solve real-life problems while anyone is in a cafe or lounge, he said.

Founded in 2021, the brand is the brainchild of Rupal Sharma and Adeeti Singh. In six months of running the beta, O’hi said he observed the behavior of more than 56,000 users. It plans to release beta soon, accelerate growth, and double growth hacks, it said in a press release.

Commenting on the injection of funds, Sharma and Sing, the founders of O’hi, said: “We are entering a very exciting phase of acceleration in our journey and I am confident that this partnership will grow many times over in the months future. We have immense on-the-ground knowledge and learning of human behavior in different types of cafes, at different times of the day as we work, studying the same thing for over four years now.”

The brand will leverage the capital injection to invest in technology, products and drivers to strengthen its application, strengthen its team and build the brand. They are looking to increase their services. The platform started with Goa, Jaipur and is currently working in Pune, Gurugram and Bangalore. He said he intended to expand to new cities.
