Semtech’s BlueRiver ™ Connects IDK’s Dante Audio Networking Technology to the SDVoE ™ Ecosystem

CAMARILLO, Calif .– (COMMERCIAL THREAD) –Semtech Company (Nasdaq: SMTC), a leading supplier of high performance analog and mixed signal semiconductors and advanced algorithms, announced that IDK Company, a leader in professional audio-visual and broadcast equipment, has introduced a new class of innovative products that, for the first time, combine its Dante audio network technology with the Software Defined Video Over Ethernet (SDVoE â„¢) ecosystem powered by technology BlueRiver â„¢ from Semtech.

“By connecting two different protocols, SDVoE and Dante, we eliminate the need for third-party converters and processors,” said Ryohei Iwasaki, CEO of IDK America. “The Dante Audio Bridge provides a streamlined AV system architecture with improved flexibility, interoperability and reliability for our customers who prefer to migrate to full Ethernet systems. ”

IDK’s new IP-NINJAR / Dante audio bridge transcodes audio signals directly between SDVoE and Dante protocol environments. Audio signal transport is enabled from NJR transmitters to Dante devices and from Dante devices to NJR receivers. Each NJR-AB08DAN can receive up to four audio streams from IP-NINJAR transmitters transmitting up to eight channels in Dante protocol. Additionally, each bridge can accept up to eight channels of audio from Dante sources, producing IP-NINJAR (SDVoE) in up to four audio streams. This feature enables Dante audio integration over HDMI signals and decay via analog audio outputs on IP-NINJAR receivers.

“The comprehensive audio routing interface capabilities of Semtech’s BlueRiver platform facilitate continuous innovation within the SDVoE-based ecosystem,” said Don Shaver, vice president of video products for the product group. signal integrity of Semtech. “IDK’s exceptional leadership in audio distribution over Ethernet networks and its portfolio of advanced solutions are helping to transform matrix switching into Pro AV. ”
