Premium Pass holders to this year HR Technology Conference and Expo, October 1-4 in Las Vegas, will get a new boost in technology-driven networking with the introduction of klik, a comprehensive event management platform comprised of smart wearables, a set of native features, an app, and even an open API.

Using their smart badges, Premium Pass holders can easily “click” with other Premium Pass participants to exchange contact information and other networking benefits, including:

  • receive additional content from exhibitors;
  • the opportunity to play “TechAdventure” to earn points for a chance to win up to $500 in Visa gift cards;
  • easily find peers to discuss common challenges in the October 3 Networking Luncheon; and
  • view connections and see the TechAdventure leader board.

All Premium Pass holders need to do is go to the klik section of the HR Tech mobile app and request a password link to log in to the dashboard.

Thursday’s Workday-sponsored Networking Luncheon in the Palazzo Ballroom from noon to 1:15 p.m. will be an opportunity to put the klik app through its paces. To help Premium Pass holders make meaningful connections over lunch, the klik smart badge will light up a certain color. Attendees simply walk to a table of the same color where they will find like-minded peers looking to engage in dynamic conversations based on provided discussion topics.

“One of the main reasons we’re using klik this year is that attendees have requested more networking than in previous years,” says Amanda Kyle, Director of Conference Operations at LRP Media Group. “For lunch, we’ll be dividing attendees into specific groups and giving them topics to talk about that we hope will lead to the results and strong networking opportunities they’ve been asking for.”
