C-DAC offering systems and safety courses


Center for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) Hyderabad, a scientific society under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, offers PG degree courses in Cybersecurity considering the current demands of the IT industry. The courses are the PG Diploma in Advanced Secure Software Development (PG-DASSD) and the PG Diploma in IT Infrastructure, Systems and Security (PG-DITISS).

The PG-DASSD course is designed by C-DAC Hyderabad to meet the growing demands of cybersecurity professionals in the IT industry with a focus on software security. It will help engineers write secure software, conduct advanced cybersecurity research, and prepare them for changing technologies and the demands of the IT industry.

The PG-DITISS course aims to prepare students in cybersecurity and network security and will enable students to understand the concepts of network security and learn techniques for detecting attacks and securing a network against internal and external attacks. The sessions would be delivered by the R&D team at C-DAC, Hyderabad.

After the course, students are placed in several IT companies including ADP, ADTRAN Networks, Amazon, Capgemini, GE, HCL, Honeywell, HSBC, Novartis, Noki, OnePlus Software, TCS, Tech Mahindra, among others.

The last date for online registration is July 18 and the admission test will take place on July 30 and 31. The course starts on September 15. Registration can be done at ‘www.acts.cdac.in’ or ‘www.cdac.in’ and details can be obtained on 7382053731/32.
